There was just one email needing actioning this morning and that was the revised text for the Mountain chicken frog from Rose (Education Officer). So apart from copying and pasting that onto the ID sign file and printing and delivering 3 copies for the Reptile House, all I did today was work on the painting of the bristlenose.
I had a bit more colour mixing to do and then I started to mould the body with light and dark tones before laying in the light coloured spots.
I walked round to see the T-Rex at lunchtime to see it 'moving and roaring' now that the DinoZoo is now 'open'. He is very impressive and it was funny to see the children walk by not realising he was there until he roared and then they shrieked or screamed. Very amusing for us adults... and the kids loved it.
